African telecom giants discuss increasing broadband penetration in Central Africa
Some of Africa’s leading telecoms companies are participating in discussions to increase broadband penetration in Central Africa.
MainOne Nigeria, West Africa's leading communications services company, and Cameroon Telecom, Cameroon's national telecommunications and internet services provider, have confirmed that discussions will ultimately result in the establishment of a Joint Venture Agreement.
The announcement builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies and Huawei Marine Networks, as well as submarine cables from Nigeria to Cameroon and other Central African regions. Successful network extension deployment.
